Attenuator Privacy Policy

Attenuator does not collect data or track you. Calculations, settings, and sensor readings remain on your device.
Data collection and tracking
Attenuator has no user accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking, or developer-operated online service. The developer does not collect data from the app.
Barometer and Motion permission
The Barometer feature uses the device pressure sensor and may trigger Apple’s Motion permission dialog. Pressure readings are processed on-device and are not collected, stored by the developer, or transmitted.
Magnetic field and Location permission
The Field feature uses heading data from the device magnetometer and may trigger Apple’s Location permission dialog. Attenuator uses this access only to display the local magnetic-field reading. The app does not track, collect, store, or transmit your location or sensor reading.
Settings
Calculator values, units, and preferences are stored locally on the device using Apple’s standard settings storage.
Support correspondence
If you email support, you choose what information to provide. It is used only to address the support request and retained only as long as reasonably needed for that purpose.
This website
This static website adds no owner-controlled analytics, advertising, forms, or tracking cookies. GitHub hosts the site and may process ordinary technical request information under GitHub’s privacy statement.
